COACH CAITLIN HUDSON
RUNNING COACH, YOGA INSTRUCTOR
914-589-8777

Caitlin started coaching runners and athletes because she believes pursuing an athletic goal in an intentional and supported way can elevate all areas of your life - your relationships, your career, and your mental well being.
Growing up in New York, Caitlin swam as a kid and started to run competitively in high school and continued this in college at Yale. She progressively moved up in distance from 800s to 5Ks and is now happiest on the trails, with a mix of track workouts in there too.
Caitlin’s professional background is as an educator in elementary and high schools, so as a coach she is an educator first. She empowers athletes to understand their training and on a deeper level, understand themselves and what makes their lives feel whole.
She doesn’t follow one specific “model” of training, as she believes the best training is always customized for that athlete. She takes great inspiration from the work of Jay Dicharry (Anatomy of a Runner), Katy Bowman (Nutritious Movement), Jill Miller (Yoga Tune Up/Roll Model) and Michael Pollan’s credo to “Eat Food, Mostly Plants.”

Testimonials:
“I was thrilled AND scared to death when I won the lottery for the NYC Marathon. I had run 2 half marathons & afterwards said to myself “never again.” I turned to Caitlin & she supported me 1000%. I knew from the start that I was going to need equal mental & physical coaching. Caitlin calmly & carefully mapped out a training plan that broke everything down so that a 58yr old first time marathoner could immediately see the possibility of crossing the finish line. She continually reminded me that it wasn’t JUST about mileage. We discussed running form, warm-ups, cool downs, the importance of rest days, nutrition, mindset & more. I had so much to learn & she was forever patient with my questions & encouraged me every step of the way. TOGETHER we crossed that finished line (under 5hrs- not bad for a first timer at my age) & I know without a doubt that my experience was that much better because of my coaching. This time I said to myself “ I’d do it again in a heartbeat.” — Barbara, 58, Teacher and First Time Marathoner
“I felt at ease training for my first marathon after receiving a training plan from Caitlin. She provided a detailed running and lifting regimen that fit with my busy work schedule and challenged me to reach my goal time. I was also grateful for her nutrition and recovery tips after those long runs!” — Elizabeth, 27, Dermatology Resident and First Time Marathoner
