COACH REMY MAGUIRE

Born and raised in Maine, Remy lived in lots of different places before settling across the country in Portland, Oregon. Remy has a Bachelors degree in Cultural Anthropology and is certain she uses that every day. After leaving a stressful job managing a new wine bar in the city she rediscovered her love of exercise and fitness. Working out made her feel stronger and more confident and she wanted other people to experience that feeling too. So, she became a personal trainer. She quickly realized that her clients needed more than just twice a week sessions to reach their goals. They need needed help planning and help with nutrition and more overall support. So, she became a nutrition coach. It seemed to her that the people with goals like climbing Mount St. Helens, or running a 5k, or any endurance challenge did the best at reaching their goals and having fun doing the hard work. So, she became a triathlon coach. Combining all of her knowledge and skills gives athletes the most comprehensive training plans and support. When Remy isn't coaching, training or racing you can find her curled up with a book, hiding out in the woods or exploring new places.
